I'm Lee Young-hyun, the CEO of Korea Internet Studio (KIS). Through our vision of being a "trustworthy hub for North Korean information," our broadcasting station strives to create an information channel that connects North Korea with the world and helps the world learn about North Korea.

KIS is

• Evaluating and analyzing North Korea-related content to provide access to reliable content.

• Expanding international understanding through issue briefing programs,

• Support for researchers, NGOs, and civil society through studio opening.

We aim to establish ourselves as a central hub of the media ecosystem related to North Korean issues, focusing on three strategies:

 

Furthermore, as stated in its Articles of Incorporation, KIS's mission is to support domestic and international residents to actively connect with the global community through various non-profit and public interest activities, including Internet-based content production and platform operation, information collection, research, and education, and support for the social settlement and integration of North Korean defectors.

 

Going forward, I and all of our staff will continue to build a "bridge of trust" connecting North Korea and the world through transparent and open operations, professional and public broadcast production, and innovative media services leveraging the latest digital technology and AI.
